Strategically located amidst hills and forests, Pro Silva d.o.o.’s plantations span three parcels, each ranging from 3 to 5 hectares. This dispersed arrangement fosters an ecologically diverse environment conducive to sustainable and organic hazelnut cultivation. While our approach may not be the most logistically optimal in terms of infrastructure, it allows us to sidestep the issues associated with monoculture plantations, a common practice among large producers in Italy, Turkey, Chile, and more recently, Serbia, Croatia, and Bosnia.
